Clothing and climate:
Please be advised that the temperatures in Namibia can go below 0°C during the cold winter months (May - July), especially at night. Mornings one should be dressed warm with a jacket or jersey that can be taken off during the day, as temperatures can rise again to 30° +. Late afternoon can be cold enough that one will start putting on a jacket and warm up for the evening. Warm clothing for these months is essential.
It can happen that temperatures can fall during summer, especially at the coast, so also pack something warm during this time of the year.
Also important to remember: Sunglasses, hat, sun lotion, binoculars, hiking boots, toiletries, something against insects and personal medicine!
