It is said to be one of the last remaining traditional living people in Africa.  We also encounter the Desert dwelling Elephant as well as other game like Giraffe, Oryx Antelope, Springbok and Ostrich. The mesmerising scenery is breath taking and well worth the while.
This tour offers a variety of geology, extreme 4x4 driving as well as coming face to face with tradition.

Day 1: Windhoek - Capricorn
After arriving at Hosea Kutako International Airport, 40km outside Windhoek, we will welcome you and take you to town. After a short sight seeing tour you get the chance to do some shopping and have a relaxing lunch while we finalise the last formalities of the tour. We depart via Okahandja for the Farm Capricorn, 40km north of Otjiwarongo. There you'll be met by the Kemp Family (your hosts in Namibia). Here we will set up our camp for the first two nights. A beautiful sunset and warm Namibian Hospitality awaits you.

Day 2: Capricorn - Otjiwarongo - Capricorn
After a healthy late breakfast "Brunch" we depart to visit a crocodile farm in Otjiwarongo. In town we can still do some shopping and enjoy a light lunch at a cosy restaurant. In the afternoon we visit one of our neighbour farms where we can view big cats. A hearty Namibian dinner will be served at Capricorn while we enjoy another beautiful sunset.

Day 3: Capricorn - Namutoni (Etosha National Park)
After breaking up our camp for the first time we enjoy a relaxing breakfast and depart for Tsumeb via Otavi. Tsumeb is an old copper mine town in the north of Namibia. We have time to make a short visit to the mine museum. On our way to Etosha we stop over at Lake Otjikoto where we can enjoy a light lunch. We proceed further to our first camp site in Etosha, Namutoni. After setting up our camp, we will be out for our first game drive in the park.

Day 4: Namutoni - Okaukuejo (Etosha National Park)
Getting up before sunrise, we have a cup of coffee and biscuits to leave with sunrise in order to see the night crawlers heading back to the dense for the day. Arriving back at the camp we have a hearty breakfast, break up our camp and depart for Okaukuejo. On route we do some game viewing and have a light lunch at Halali. Here you can even relax in the swimming pool, before we drive further. Tonight you can enjoy seeing animals at the waterhole in Okaukuejo.

Day 5: Okaukuejo - Hobatere
We depart from Okaukuejo early morning. A drive to a least visited part of the pan, brings us to a lodge on the eastern border, Hobatere. Here we take a quiet afternoon and enjoy a typical Namibian sunset.

Day 6: Hobatere - Epupa Falls
We depart early morning via Opuwo, where we can do the last shopping for the next days, to the Epupa Falls. On the way we start seeing the people of the region, the Himba, and the rugged environment tells a tale of this hard country. Our camp will be set up on the banks of the mighty Kunene river. The Falls provide a beauty unlike most places here in the north-west of Namibia. We enjoy our dinner while listening to the thundering of the Falls in the background.

Day 7: Epupa Falls - Orupembe
After breakfast we leave the Falls behind and head towards Orupembe. On the way we will visit a Himba kraal. Today we do a bit of 4x4 driving through a very interesting and hard country side. We put up a "bush camp" for the night, with no facilities except a bush shower and bush toilet.

Day 8: Orupembe - Purros
Today we depart for a beautiful campsite in the heart of Kaokoveld. On the way we pass through beautiful unspoiled terrain. In Purros we have the opportunity to visit another Himba kraal. If we are lucky we might even encounter the majestic and mystique Desert Elephant.

Day 9: Purros - Palmwag
We depart for Sesfontein after breakfast over an interesting pass. On the way we visit Ongongo Waterfall where we can take a plunge in crystal clear water filtering through the underground. After the refreshing swim we continue to Palmwag Lodge. In this well laid out camp site we have the opportunity to savour an ice cold drought beer!

Day 10: Palmwag - Xaragu
After breakfast we drive through the awe inspiring Damaraland, where we try to solve the mystery of the age old rock engravings and drawings at Twyfelfontein. Twyfelfontein got declared as a world heritage site in 2007! At the petrified forest we look at the fascinating and interesting tree trunks turned into stone. After arriving at Xaragu and setting up our camp for tonight we can go for a well earned swim in the pool.

Day 11: Xaragu - Brandberg
Today we continue further towards Brandberg, the highest mountain in Namibia. Here we visit the well known "White Lady" with a short walk of 1 1/2hours. The afternoon we can go for a walk in the Ugab riverbed or a short drive in search of the Desert Elephant.

Day 12: Brandberg - Swakopmund
From here we drive to the Cape Fur Seal Colony at Cape Cross. Due to the very nice smell which we will get there, this will be a very short visit. We will have lunch at Hentiesbaai and from there we head towards Swakopmund. Here we can enjoy some sight seeing and a walk at the Atlantic Ocean. Tonight we will have dinner at one of the cosy restaurants in town.

Day 13: Swakopmund
